Paparazzi has stood in the historic Windsor Hotel building on Loch Promenade in Douglas, Isle of Man, since June 1996.

Pizza comes out of the stone oven the way it should. A Margherita of just cheese and tomato, a Diavola with pepperoni, chilli and garlic butter, or the Meat Feast if you are not holding back. Folded calzone, filled and baked: Milanese with ham and mozzarella under bolognese, Kiev with chicken and spinach under garlic butter.
Beyond the oven there is pasta and risotto, meat and fish, and starters worth arriving early for: focaccia with rosemary and rock salt, bruschetta with vine tomatoes and basil pesto, deep-fried mozzarella with garlic mayo.
Gluten-free bases and a full kids’ menu are always available.
